The foundation was established in 2003.

The non-profit organization combines environmental protection, education, and job creation in its project. From paper waste, formerly unemployed women in handicraft work make exclusive bags, accessories, and other things. All products are unique in design and one hundred percent environmentally friendly! They are made by Mexican artisans in an old braiding technique by hand. Each piece is unique! The women receive a fair wage for their work. Part of the proceeds from the sale of bags, pouches, pencil cases and other things directly benefits an educational project for poor children.

The material for the innovative upcycling products comes on the one hand from huge dumps, on the other hand directly from large companies that make their packaging waste available.

The foundation has already received several awards for its commitment to social issues and the environment!

We are proud to be the official MITZ representative in Europe.
