Cotton blouse Frida Mia

Tax included.

This piece contains one of the most traditional Mexican embroideries made on a chain stitch machine. This style of embroidery became popular thanks to the artist Frida Kahlo, who was portrayed many times with this type of "huipil". It is a representative handmade piece of the Isthmus of Tehunatepec, since it was handmade in Tehunatepec in Oaxaca, Mexico. This blouse shape is known as "Huipil". It is a blouse with a traditional straight cut, sewn on the side. This blouse can be wonderfully combined with a denim jacket or a more formal garment. This blouse was handmade by women artisans from communities in Oaxaca, Mexico, whose work is part of an integral program that promotes their economic growth, community participation, human education and improved health. The women artisans receive fair compensation for their work. There may be minimal deviations in the shape of the embroidery and the dimensions. This is not a flaw but proof of real handwork and that it is a natural product.
